    I highly reccomend This stuff

Turtle wax bug and tar remover. I just finished doing my entire white truck with this stuff and it's the best and easiest tar remover I have ever used. I travel country roads mostly and they are oil and chip. With this heat wave, they are bubbling and splatter even more than usual.

I use awesome and then either hose it off or wipe it off right after...cuz thats stuffs strong. Might have to look into that cuz im not sure how safe that awesome is for a truck. I only use it when a wash and quick scrub wont do it

Well, it doesn't work to well on Fla love bugs, in fact it barely touched them. I used dryer sheets to early remove them. NASTY little bugs, they are.

Artificial steel wool for washing dishes. Some kind of plastic, cuts the bugs off and no scratches. Nervous the first time I tried it but it worked great.

And we thought you had a mottled colored truck. It is good stuff, I used it to get tar off before.

WD40 will melt tar right off too, or the cheaper knock off stuff like Super Tech.

I agree!! Have used it several times. Also doubles for a starting fluid for your lawn mower. Good stuff.

With the Turtle wax bug and tar remover, you spray it on, wait 1 minute and rub it off. Next just buff with a dry, clean cloth and no need to wax or even wash. I still plan on waxing it today but there is a pretty good shine with just the remover.

I have a can of that stuff I bought about 30 years ago. Got a bunch of tar on my girls car and decided to use something new. Went into the auto parts store I used to work at and asked my buddy what was best for tar. He gave me a bottle of that. I followed directions and it worked like magic. The old stuff in the can worked but needed a lot of elbow grease. Not this new stuff it was so easy to use.

I'm going to buy a bottle and try it. I still have a can of bug and tar remover that I bought in 1990.
