Ultrex button sticking

About 2 months ago I installed a ultrex on my Triton. Occasionally the button will stick when I let my foot off of it. It's starting to be a pain in the ass when I'm close to a target and it just keeps going. Has anyone else had this problem or know a way to fix it? I have a cool foot pad on it but I dont think that's making it stick. Thanks fellas.

You have to adjust the magnet for the reed switch, it's under the button. Sounds like it's too close.

Search on the forums will have plenty of info on this, or peruse the electrical, trolling motor section.

I had the same issue and the this was my issue, simple fix.
