Rule at our house is the lid is closed each time. 30 years ago she didn’t close the lid, before I went to bed I drained the main vein and left the seat up. She gets up in the middle of the night and doesn’t turn any lights on. . now she closes the lid.

I live in a home with 3 females. I tell them it's easier to put it down than it is to put it up. Gravity is on your side I tell them. It's hard to argure with logic, but it's harder to argue with females.
