    Ferrite Beads

    Anyone using the ones that come with the Ultra sets?

    Yeah....Put them on but don't know if it made a difference or not....won't hurt to try them.....I was surprised to see that many in the box....

    I use them on the transducer cable and the interferences produced by the TM are gone.

    Where did you install the beads on the cable? Near the head unit or somewhere else along the run of the cable? I bought a couple ferrite rings to hopefully stop the RFI from my new Ultrex trolling motor and my bow mounted Striker 4CV and it's not really doing much.

    The instructions that come with the Garmin ones say to install on the transducer cord close to the head unit.
