    Ultrex foot pedal

S0 was fishing a tournament today and at the end of the day (last spot) I deployed the motor and went to steer it and all of a sudden the tow just dropped down. the pedal feels like it's broken and moving freely from tow down back to about level and the head does not move at all, but if I push the heel down the head will turn no problem. Heel all the way down then the pedal is limp and just falls forward. The head turns fine left and right with the remote. The pedal does not freeze up like others have had happen. It's just will move back and forth freely.... If I broke a cable would this be a symptom? I have heard broken cables lock the pedel, by my pedal moves like something else is broken?? anybody have this happen and if so, what's the fix?

    Thanks all,
    Randy

I suspect you have broken a steering cable.
