Like the title says... just curious if anybody if using this setup? I know it’s a smaller screen with less pixels but can you still use the Livescope effectively?

You can’t go wrong getting the Livescope no matter the screen size
Your effective range will be shorter but at some time you can move up
to a larger screen if desired
Getting tough when the transducer cost more than the MFD to readily support it
My answer assumes you already have the 7” unit. If not disregard and get at least a 9 “ unit

I have the 7 and did not flush mount it so it was closer to my head. It works fine. In fact my buddy has the 9 inch and has been plagued with problems? I am not sure if the screen has anything to do with it. I wired my myself and it was been great. However, the detail isn't quite as good of course. I recently bought a new boat and didn't put a live scope back on it because of all the issues Garmin is having. Once they figure the electronic issues out, ill be back in the market!
