    Black box ground wire

    My question is , with an aluminum boat can you ground anywhere or should I run another wire to the battery, or can I splice into the ground wire all ready coming from the wiring harness.

    Most run it to the battery.

    Always run ground wires straight to the battery in aluminum boats. If you don't, you run the risk of introducing electrolysis to the hull. I have welded on several boats that had holes all in them from it.

    I went to the ground on the power cable. It goes to the battery.
