    94 zx200 need advice

    94 zx200 with 94 200 venom Johnson,,,,cmc 6” hyd jackplate 1 power pole,,,,was running a mark crouton worked 25p renegade and getting maybe high 50’s ar wot 5800 rpm great hole shot,,,I went to lithium’s and took about 200# out of the back due to that, now the prop is going over 6000 rpm (easily) ,,,, suggestions anyone? Thanks

    Joe, did you ever try the 26 Raker II that you were looking for thrust washer for?

    It’s a raker 1 and yes I did couldn’t get on plane , but I haven’t tried taking out plugs yet

    Is there any rule of thumb with removing the vent plugs?or trial and error

    A raker one usually doesn't have PVS vent holes with plugs just 3/8" vent holes. If yours has PVS plugs in it take one out and try it if that doesn't do it pull another one.

    If it has PVS holes drilled you can change the size plugs in it until you get between 3500-4000 rpms at break over.
