serial number 5672490
tested compression other day and fired it up on the stand today.
shift shaft seal was causing water to get in. water pump is in bad shape so those are the parts im going to be looking for.
i pulled the lower unit inners out and seems either the keyway was missing or i lost it, so im looking for that too, and bottom end plug seals.
hoping to get it on the boat in next couple weeks and test it on the water
those parts should still be available

Yeah I figured but hard to find the ones I need without knowing the year. I tried looking up the serial and come up with not found
the lady at west marine is such a snot. hopefully the right parts come, but the upper water pump housing picture didnt look right
should be 96148a1 or T1
