    Mercury OptiMax 200

Went to the lake today and fished then I went to start my motor and I go absolutely nothing! Moved the shifter and it fired up and I went to another spot to fish and then I got the same thing when I was ready to leave. This time nothing worked with the shifter and I was trolling to the bank and I trimmed the motor up and then I fired right up. Anyone can help me with this issue? I check the wires on the solenoid and nothing loose. Could it be the neutral safety switch, or any suggestions? Put it on the trailer and it cranks just fine.

Good idea to check out the 3.0L Forum (one more down the list). That's where your engine would be covered.
