Upgrade HDS Gen3, is 18.2 good?

I have an older version of software on my Gen3, is 18.2 good or bad? I haven't upgraded since the unit works good but it recently developed an issue with the clock so I thought maybe a software upgrade is in order but I also saw posts where people have issues. What do you think Good or Bad?

I have used 18.2 from the day it came out with no issues at all on two gen 3 9s, Also have 18.3 on my 3D box used with both 9s and all is well. Len

Hard RESET?

I just used my new HDS 7 Gen 3 with 18.2 and it seemed to work fine. I have some fine tuning to do for views and stuff, but the charts and sonar worked fine. I never used the stock 3.5 and updated the software and did a hard reset before I took it on the water. It got about 7 hours worth of work this weekend.
