    Ultrex heading sensor wiring

I have a terminal block under the dash of my ranger 481VS. Negative side looks full but there’s open spots on the positive side(weird I know, another issue).
If I want to wire my hearing sensor to that can I splice the negative wire of heading sensor to existing negative wire on the block? Then put 1 amp inline fuse on the positive to one of the open spots on the block?

You will want to be able to power off the heading sensor via a switch or a power cut off.

I have a master power switch in the back of the boat that will cut power to this. So I should be good. Just wasn’t sure about piggybacking the negative wires..

A terminal like this put on the sensor negative will keep you from having to splice
