    Live well pump

Looks like my live well pump finally bit the dust. How difficult is it to change? Also are replacement pumps s standard or do I need to get a specific one?

All that can depend on what your particular setup is. First step is to figure out what pump you have, and can it still be obtained. If so, it should be a same-for-same swap out.

I just went through replacing mine, and I changed pump models, which resulted in my new pump not fitting where the old pump had been, so some engineering had to happen. While I was playing in the bilge, I also added a livewell recirc system (My boat didn't have one from the factory), and a float switch for the bilge pump (wasn't an automatic system before).

Look and see what you have most you can replace just the motor. That is super easy, if you need the entire pump that can be a bit more challenging with all the silicone.
