    2020 Corvette

Can't believe this has been brought up but this is probably one of the most anticipated Corvette reveals since the first one. The day has finally come here's a link if anyone's interested https://media.chevrolet.com/nextgenCorvette

Seriously. Front engine/rear drive is part of the Corvette DNA.

I wouldn't be to nostalgic. They have been tinkering with the idea for 60 years. 1973-xp-897gt.jpg1972-xp-895.jpg1968-astro-ii-2.jpg1986-indy.jpg1990-cerv-iii.jpg

    It had reached its limits.

It says 0-60 in 2.8 seconds. I doubt the Dodge Demon is scared.

In a lame light to light “race”, probably not. On a track where driving skills and car handling matters, very scared. That’s just a guess as to the numbers I’ve seen the ‘vette put down on tracks.

Even though I'm typically a Ford guy, I've had a few Vettes. 73, 02 & 07. I don't mind the mid engine, but I think the looks are way off for a Vette. I've also read that the powertrain will be almost completely untunable. One of the best things about late model Corvettes is how they respond to simple bolt ons and good stout tune.
Currently boatless but will always drive a Bass Cat

Nice looking design - although it sorta looks like a result of a gang-bang between a Lamborghini Aventador, McLaren 720S, and a Ferrari FXX K Evo. Not that there's anything wrong with that, mind you.
