    Ultrex power light

    I turn power switch off and blue light stays on flip switch repeatedly and it will go off. Go out the next evening and blue light is on again. WHY??????

    The back of the switch has 2 male spades, the female connectors that go on them need to be tightened up so they make better contact. Good luck.
    Or the switch could be bad.

    On the power switch, it turns on when the leads are disconnected and off when the switch connects them. If it is turning on when not suppose to I would think the lead is loose on the switch.

    Not to change the subject but God that blue light is bright when night fishing! It just stares up at you.

    I keep a roll of electrical tape in my rod locker. Rip off a little piece and put it over the lights.


    Early morning or night fishing it is part of my routine. Putting the anchor and nsv lights up I stick my tape on. Time to take the lights down and I take the tape off.


    Works plenty fine.

    I leave the tape on my all the time. I think the same piece has been on there over a year now.
