    OEM or CDI?

    Whats the concensus on the best quality replacement igintion components? CDI or OEM

    Man, I don't know. Mike?....Jerry?....what do you guys think?

    Definitely OEM. It will save you a lot of headaches, and probably sooner than later. Boats.net offers all OEM parts at very good prices.

    CDI makes a lot of the ignition parts for BRP now so in a lot of cases there is no difference in the part except color. BRP warranty can be easier to deal with though.

    My understanding is mixing OEM /CDI parts never work.....go all the way with one......I still prefer OEM.
