Supposedly the phone with lots of evidence disappeared after the defense reviewed it. I assume disappeared means sold to spacey's lawyers for 6 figures. If youre gonna be scum....make sure youre gonna have good lawyers and some money to back it. Look how long epstein got away with it for.

Yea. The news said police reviewed the phone and then it went missing. They dismissed the case "due to unavailability of the complaining witness." If the police reviewed it seems like there should be some sort of record. To me it screams pay off to "lose" the phone...especially since there is snapchat video. Snapchat videos arent really private and im sure can be had with a warrant. Seems like spacey payed the guy off. Decided to plead the fifth since he's claiming the phone is "lost" when in reality he prolly just handed it over to defense attornies for $xxx,xxx dollars. Not a bad deal to get that money and a handy from a celebrity! LMAO sorry i had too
Also...im no cop but I seen plenty of the first 48. and just cuz the phone isnt physically present doesnt mean they cant pull texts and call records. They couldve stuck him...but the person accusing him dropped it. I err on the side of payoff versus a scam....same way i do when it comes to cosby. Too much smoke for there not to be a fire.
Can't misplace evidence and expect a jury to be OK with it. If it's not available at trial, it never existed.
