    Motorguide Mount question

Need some expert advice on mounts.
I’ve got an older pro series 75 that came on the boat 9 years ago. The bushings are gone and when you hit the button and let off it clunks back and forth and is loud, and annoying. I found a good deal on a X3 bracket and was wondering it would work with my motor. This is a temporary fix until January and the new motors come out.
    Thanks

The new motors have a shaft diameter similar to the Minn Kotas which is slightly bigger.

You may be able to wrap it with something to make up the difference in a pinch but best to find an old 20.5 or 21 mount.

No, the X3 mount will not work on the Pro or the Tour series motors. You will need a Motorguide mount for that trolling motor.

I’ve looked before and I couldn’t find any names, model numbers or anything else. It’s the basic mount I’d say, I’ll get some pictures and send them to you tomorrow when I can pull the cover back.
