    Just ordered a 2020 Classic

Very excited went back and forth between many boats but always came back to the basscat. Can’t wait. Dealer says end of September. Basscat is even going to do some custom seat work for me because I didn’t like the seats. What other company is going to do that? From what I have seen basscat makes the best quality out there.

Congrats, I finally got to see one in person yesterday. Will definitely be my next boat unless the PII gets a layout update. The Classic is huge for a 19'/200hp boat.
Currently boatless but will always drive a Bass Cat

Congrats. I just went from a P2 to a Classic with the Merc V8. I’m sure that like me that you will be thrilled with it.

Nice. Can you explain what you had them do to the seats?

Great question. That was 1 of 2 things I did not like on the Classic. The other being the live wells. But now that I know both can be upgraded I will add the Classic to the list of my next BassCat... the Caracal and another PII are the others on that list. I love my 2018 PII though and think it will hard to get rid of it....lol

I asked to just add more padding across the top because there is a bar there and to maybe make them taller by an inch or two. We will see what I actually get. The seats are already in a way custom made and the shop that makes them says all basscat has to do is tell them what mods they want and they will make it.

I didn’t know I could upgrade the livewells but not actually worried in this dept. my previous boat had a similar setup and I never had a fish die so the simple livewell is fine for my needs and I’m confident they wouldn’t make out in a livewell system that didn’t work well. It’s like the vinyl ester. I opted to not get that upgrade. They are already using higher quality resin than all other manufacturers so going with the vinyl ester upgrade while better isn’t necessary.
