Ultrex Steering with the Remote?

Ordering a new boat and I plan to get the Ultrex. Currently using a Terrova and there are times I use the trolling motor remote to steer from the back of the boat.

Can the Ultrex be steered using its remote from anywhere on the boat or is it pedal steer only?

Yes, it can be steered with the remote.

You can steer it with a smartphone, tablet, or Humminbird display also.

+1 Only the Link model can be controlled from the Humminbird.

I use the remote exclusively and it works great! Easy to use

I use auto pilot and spot lock a lot and the remote shuts off if you don’t touch it within 30 minutes

It still amazes me when I look at the remote and it’s off and I realize I haven’t touched the motor in 30+ minutes

You can change it to never shut off or make it a hour or less time. I always have issues with the remote if its raining getting buttons pushed I did not push so I bought the mini remote and will often use it if Im using jog a lot.
