    Okoboji

    Was stingy yesterday.

On a good note, with the down pour the carpet got a good cleaning. Parked uphill, pulled the plug —- I don’t think I have ever had that much water in this boat. Sun came out the rest of the day, dried everything—- good as new.

Lake is fishing a little different since the zebra invasion. Weeds are not where they used to be IMHO. Find the grass in 14-16 fow and LM are there. I have never been able to find the smallies consistently there. I think mostly they are deeper than I like to fish.

I haven’t been up there since the beginning of June and the weeds hadn’t really grown up on West lake yet. Hoping to get back up there again in August or September.

Good luck with the eyes. Maybe you will get into some good perch as well. I'm headed back to boji tonight. Looking forward to the topwater bite tomorrow am. Good luck in MN and enjoy your trip back home. I'm sure it will be much better than
driving in that snow storm we hit last October!!
