    Jack plate size

I have a 2010 202 prov. It’s got a 14” hydro dynamics manual jack plate now. I’ve been thinking about getting an atlas hydraulic one though. My question is, do I need to stay with a 14” or is there another size (or brand) that may be better? Thanks in advance.

For overall performance, 14-15in of set back is optimum. Bobs makes a 14in Hydro but its heavy as hell and I didn't like it on my 2014. I'd go with an 8in Hydro plate with a 6in static plate bolted to it.
