Hpdi 250 trim relay

Guys are telling me that because my trim from all three (cowling, throttle, and blinker switch) is working intermittently going UP and Down that my trim relay is going bad


Does that sound about right? I’ll be checking the connection tomorrow hopefully.

what is the part number for that relay?

where can I buy one?

And do do I need a Yamaha relay?

Can look up your motor at both of these sites. I use simyamaha because they are closer, can usually get it quicker and have really good customer service.

Only way to know if you need a new one is to bench test it. This video explains in detail how they work.

First thing is to check wires for tight connection.
