    13 Fishing Creed GT spinning reel

    Guys,

    This little used reel is starting to act up on me. Even with the drag tightened down, you can still easily peel line off. Just like if the drag was set very light. Any ideas?

    Actually figured it out. The braided line was slipping on the spool. Peeled it off, but some electrical tape on the spool, then put line back on. Problem solved!

    I tried to like this reel but the line going under the spool was enough to make me send it back..... Then I tried the concept C which had numerous issues and finally sold it for a huge loss.
    Enough $ wasted on 13 fishing for me but i do love the trapper hat.
