My first fiberglass boat was a Pantera Classic with a 200. Very fast boat and could easily have two people on the front deck with deck extension. If was light. You can't go wrong with one for the right price.

The 19 foot Phoenix front deck seems to be on the small size compared to some other 19 footers

Cat. Best customer service in the business and a true rocket of a boat.

    BassCat or Phoenix.
If at all possible you need to drive and work the TM in both brands.
Keep in mind with BassCat you have the option of the new Pantera Classic or Pantera 2.
The Classic has a wider front deck and is more budget friendly.
The Pantera 2 is wider in the rear, and is an Advantage model.
As mentioned above, I believe the P2 is the perfect 19 foot tournament rig. From deck layout. Storage. TM response. It also has one of the quickest holeshot - 65 mph I have ever been in.

If your on a budget, the Classic or 819Pro would be the cheaper priced rigs.
    Good luck on your choice!

The Pantera Classic was not all that impressive to me, seemed like a very entry level rig, which was their intention. Basic gelcoat colors, not a lot of the same upgrades found in the other models. All things equal I would lean Phoenix. Love BCB but I just like the other 19's a bit more.

Wish they were still around. But if you can find a stratos 294 pxl. Those boats will fly with 200 on the back. Broke alot of 250 hp guys hearts. Just me cause I was one of them. Lol

Bass Cat for sure but I'm definitely biased. I'm on my 4th Pantera model: 93 PII, 97 Classic, 14 PII and now my 00 Classic. If I was buying new again it would be a tough decision between the two Pantera models. I've never heard any complaints about Phoenix or Falcon but I do know Bass Cat has treated me great. With each boat I was treated as if I had a brand new Jaguar. I primarily fish on Toledo Bend and the Pantera hulls have treated me great.
Currently boatless but will always drive a Bass Cat
