    Does it hurt to run motor without thermastostats

    Never run without thermostats. The motor has to get up to temp. With the Pro XS motors #6 cyl has problem of freezing in the cylinder. The piston will expand faster than the cylinder so when your at full throttle on a cold engine the piston freezes in the cylinder. while this is more common in the colder months I'm sure it could happen in moderately cool water. Also the computer relies on temperature for fuel and timing info. If you're running in warm up mode all the time you're wasting a lot of fuel and possibly could cause catastrophic engine failure
