Will someone please give quick less on making chatterbait heads with figure 8 wires?

I searched but couldn't find it. I'm trying to decide whether to use the figure 8's or open the eye with a punch. Any coaching appreciated.

If you have material to try both that is the way i would go and see which is the best for you i have done both and i think the figure 8 is easier and just use a hook for a spinner bait. using a punch you will break a few hook eyes

Many just buy spinnerbait heads, Cut the wire to length, add blade and bend circle closed. http://www.lurepartsonline.com/Onlin...nerbait-Heads/
