Throttle Issue on 198
Any ideas or experience with throttle that is tough to go into forward and when back in neutral revs high? This has hotfoot setup.

First off, make sure your Hot Foot is returning all the way. Pull up with your toe against the toe bar and see if RPMs decrease. If so, you can try lubricating all the pivot points. TH Marine states that they have Teflon bushings, so you may need to disassemble and clean them and the pivot bars. Also make sure that the throttle pivots under the cowl are also lubed free moving. Once everything moves full travel freely, you can adjust the return spring if needed. If you run out of adjustment, you may need a new spring.
