Anyone ever used a bottom bouncer to get a crankbait deeper, if so did you have any success with it. Looking at trying it on a deep lake (around 35 to 40 ft ) for bass. Just looking for options.

Pulled stick baits down with them before. It works for multiple species. Just gotta go kinda slow with your trolling motor around whatever your fishing.
Yes with great success on Kentucky lake.

This is really common among walleye fisherman. They call it three-way rigging. That might be a way to read up on it!

I thought someone posted that Donnie guy and nasty lady video again.

Try a lipless crank. Caught many in 30 to 50 ft.
Yes we use bottom bouncers all the time for walleye fishing. Use an original floater. Speed of about 1 1/2mph. Works great on steep breaks. The trouble with fish the really deep 35-40 feet is the fish get the benz and many don't survive. We usually stay less than 30 feet.
I cut the hook and pulled off the blades on spinnerbaits to rig up floating Rapalas for walleye. Sort of a carolina rig when you troll slow.
Might be good in rock filled snagfest bottom with floating worm or in heavy Current... Walleye technique, even back trolling with them..Good way to fish Trolling motor only lakes or strip pits.. 3 hook worm with piece of nightcrawler on last hook for gills and small bass >Kids.. They have Snap weights too.. might want to check those out too..
I prefer the snap weight system... less drag and you unhook them before landing the fish which allows you to run 20 feet or more behind your weight. Gives you more options to mess with your depth
He's walleye fishing but it will give you the basics.
