Question on my 2016 Ranger Z520C and the height of the Atlas Jackplate

So, I have been out several times with this boat but have a few questions. First, Have been questioning what height do I need to have my Atlas Jackplate? There is a digital display with numbers and I have messed around with moving it up and down during the day and can't really tell much difference. What do you guys run yours at to get on plane and do you move them up while driving? I have moved mine and found very little difference in performance. Thanks Greg

So I am a total novice with a Jack plate but now with 1 year under my belt this is what I've found with my 17 520c. For long runs mine seems to run the best at around 13, but at high speeds. At slower speeds my boat seems to want to porpoise at 13. If its rough all the way down. I do move mine up and down a little while driving but very rarely now. I have gone higher than 13 but she does get a little squirrely and I am by no means an adrenaline junkie so I just play it safe.
