    Ranger Life Vests

    Are they true to size?

I'm in between L / XL size and want to order the non-inflatable type. They have several sizes...is the large a bigger large or should I go with XL and hope that is cinches down?

Well I wear a decent amount of 2XL and my XL fits me great and my 2XL vest fits me loose but comfortable. I say they run large.

This is good to know, thank you. I was thinking of getting an XL so I can layer with it during the winter. But it sounds like a L is a better choice.

I would also say they run a bit large.

I have both large and xl. 6'2" about 215. Large fits tight with a t shirt and xl fits loose with a hoodie on. Hope this helps.

Well my order showed up...and it's going back. Sure the L fits...but it seems I need to get the XL so I can layer up without feeling like:
