I think I can make it to this one! Where's the boat launch for this section? And how safe is it to run for someone that has never been there? Hopefully navionics has maps for it.

Hopefully the water goes down a bit and clears up for you guys. Further north the river looked like the Mississippi yesterday.

It's on Merrimack street in Hookset.
I've only been a couple times. There are lots of rocks next to the ramp area and around the dam. I don't know this place that well but I think once you get past the Tressel your good to go most places. I've ran the middle all the way to the next dam.

I went and looked at the ramp Saturday. The water was pretty high. There were still 10 trailers in the parking lot.
Hopefully it comes down by Sunday.

I heard today that the water level is nearly back to normal, and water clarity is back to normal.

For a fishing website, there doesn't seem to be very much fishing going on.

If you still want to fish this, I'll be there. I've never fished this section so it could be fun. It could also suck.

I had hoped my schedule to have changed but my replacement was fired during the training LOL. The kid sure did love her phone but dind't really want to work all that much. I don't know when the next applicant will be taken but I'm hoping to make the next one.

had to comment, my friend and I won the old " King of the River " T's they held once a year decades ago. Do they still hold it ? Anyways, Under the bridges especially the first one on the right beware of rocks. However this is where we won ! You could stay for hours without a bite then they'd feed ! Bingo. Gold Bombers( top ) Brown with a orange belly crank, and brown/orange and black / blue jigs.Sometimes you'd limit in 5 minutes on 3 to 4 pound smallies…… after not getting bit for 4 or 5 hours Wish I could fish this one. I'll be sure to follow up on the results, good luck guys

I throw a gold rapala alot.
They took out the Tressel a couple years ago.
Not sure what it looks like there now.
I'm not sure if they do any of those tournaments there anymore.

That would explain why I didn't catch anything fishing that bridge.
