    TR196 Fury 4 or Trophy

Need a 4 blade prop for St Clair and Erie. Which one seems to fit these boats better?

I have a TR 196 and prefer the 23 Rev 4 and the 24 Bravo to the Trophy. I have not run a Fury 4. On my boat, the Bravo has a better hole shot and I like the way the Rev 4 carries the entire boat better. Haven't run either in real rough water so can't compare them there.

I run the Trophy Plus on my 196 under all conditions and like it.

Get the Fury 4. Great hole shot and the X7 Alloy is stronger than the Trophy. Fury 4 has 8 holes but leave them all unplugged. good speed too.

Some of the Trophy's are made of X7 too and have been for years. Get a Bravo xs it's better than the Fury 4 in rough water.

Everyone kind of throws a little of each back at me. No clear winner then.

When going from a 3 blade prop to a 4 blade how much pitch should you change?

If you change to a bravo up 1-2" in pitch and the other 4 blades down 1". On Erie the bravo will be the best for hole shot and rough water.

Can you explain to me the reason for those pitch changes?

Couldn't figure out exactly what four blade I wanted so I just bought a different boat.
