I’ve ran both and had excellent results. Just be sure and get the heaviest ply rating you can if you want them to last.

I would go with whichever is cheaper myself. They are both good tires and will perform similarly.

Coopers didn’t get much mileage even with routine rotation and the bfg has horrible cupping issues.
i would go with toyo a/t or the nitto terra grappler. Nitto seem to get the longest mileage and best ride and sound for my applications.

Running the BFGs right now on my '18. Have about 32k on them so far and they probably have another 20k on them. Admit I don't rotate them often enough.

a lot depends on if you have a 2 or 4wd truck. my 2005 Tacoma with Cooper ST that was a 4wd had their all terrains wore ok but after 20k miles was so noisey and terrible in rain sold them. jump to 2017 my 2015 F150 tried the Cooper ATP from Discount Tire and the same thing happened. I rotate every 5k miles and kept them balanced. my son runs the BFG AT KOs and same trucks and his have always done better. I should have spent the extra money and bought the BFGs.

You would think that he would be clear about that in the original post

I’m happy with my AT3 Coopers so far , always ran Michelin but decided to try these coopers and I like them just fine.
