Mapping Question

Will (2) 122sv Ultra sets with Network cable share mapping?

This is what the website says:::

• Share sonar, waypoints and routes with other ECHOMAP Ultra 10” and 12” units as well as ECHOMAP Plus 7” and 9” units.
• There is no mention of sharing mapping & there is a difference...On some sets NMEA will share waypoints but not mapping..
• Just want to make sure before buying another set for the console..

I am curious as well. I think they will share mapping but the map has to be on an sd card. Hopefully someone who is doing this will confirm.

I have no ideal but you must be liking the Garmin Ultras. That is good.

Yes....will share on card and will also share quick draw maps that you make. Now, it was mentioned that if one unit has the full built-in map, it will share to a unit that does not have that. For instance a 126 to a 122...I have not seen that but it was said on here....I'd have to try and find the post.

All this is done via the Marine network cable.

They also share 1 Active Captain card now.

For the record, I dont have a mapping card but do have QD maps recorded and it shares them from one unit.
