    Trolling motor junction box

I have an aluminum boat that I am mounting a transom mount type trolling motor on the bow. I have run battery extention cables from the rear mounted battery forward. I need a simple 2 stud covered junction box to connect the eyelets on the TM cable to eyelets on the battery cables. If someone has used something similar please let me know where you found it.
    Thanks Jim

This pic is a different application but shows the same connector used on my direct wired trolling motor. In this picture only one post is used but both the red and black cables are connected on my trolling motor. It is not water tight.
I have not been able to find one commercially available, but you may be able to order one from a Ranger dealer or John Jones May have them.

You can get a simple junction strip at a home store such as Lowes in the electronics area. I also have them in stock not quiet as expensive as the one in the link.

I found this in my spare parts. It is the same connector used on my trolling motor, I will give it to you if you want. Just PM your address and I will put it in the mail.

Why not just use a bolt and nylock nut. Just bolt the terminals together, put a piece of split tubing over it and tape.
