    Talon install pics

Thought you might like to see pics of the install on my Tracker 190. As you can see in the picture with the Talon tilted forward there is no interference from the latter. Also a little info on that latter,TH Marine want 278 bucks for that latter, iboats.com has the same latter for 113 dollars with free shipping...just fyi.

Great pics and info! Thank you!

I see that you only bolted the ladder on with 2 bolts compared to the other Twist Ladder install I saw with 4 bolts, with 2 holes custom drilled in the center of the flag bracket. He didn't have the tilt brackets on yet, but see that the tilt lever might hit a bolt in the center. The 2 bolts are plenty strong I take it? Looking to do the same install. Thanks!

Yes plenty strong, I am 6ft 2in and 330lbs and have used it several times after a swim, if it holds my fat ass it should hold about anyone.

BuzzBait53, saw these last year and almost went this route but found a deal on the R&R Design Extended Ladder and went that route instead. I have it mounted with the R&R Design bracket that was meant for Power Poles but fits the Talons no problem, no re-drilling either.

That is also a very nice setup.

    Thank you.

One downside I saw on my boat going with your setup is my Talon brackets don't sit parallel with the transom, so as you extend the ladder the bottom would actually tuck closer to the transom and I wasn't sure if this would make it more difficult to climb out.

Yours is however closer to the transom so you don't have to step as far over to get back onto the boat. I originally tried mounting mine in the same place as yours but couldn't because of the bend in the bracket would interfere with the Talon itself.
