Does anyone know if the 250SS can be advanced above 250 HP by way of the ECM? If it has one! Like the Yamaha SHO's can be. I had heard that the SS runs a bit more than 250 HP, anyone know for sure? Thx.

Simon Motorsports can reflash the ECM. From what I read on the Suzuki FB forum, Simon's can rework the ECM to add about 25hp at least for $675.00 and you would be required to run 91 octane as well. But I also read that a stock 250SS also puts out closer to 275 HP as well.

booter, thx, I think I'll keep it at the factory setting as I don't want to fool with 91 octane fuel.
