HDI transducer

Bought a 000-10976-001 HDI.
Carbon 7
The sonar works, but the downscan just shows faint dots.
I thought this ducer did both.

Also on sonar, I am getting vertical lines look kinda like weeds, but it clear water, and I can see the pebbles on the bottom,

Wondering if the ducer is defectice.

You have the correct tranducer selected under Sonar-installation, nothing connected to the black port and are viewing this unit channel 1?

Attached to blue port, nothing in black. there is two hdi options in installation tried both. That is the most confusing part, hoping I get the right one.

Based on item number, you should choose 83/200/455/800 in the installation menu.

I messed with different settings nothing. There is small little red dots, very faint.

Make your downscan screen active, press MENU and then post a screen shot. The MENU shown in the above pics reference the Sonar screen since it is active (surrounded by orange border).

i dont think its turned on,mine shows in frequeincey box 800 and your shows chirp my top setting in mode is either fresh water or shallow and should your channel 1 be turned on by the picture it dont look like it,do a full screen shot just in down scan and post it if might help

Make the Downscan side the active pane. Probably just a problem with selecting the source. But can't tell until we see the settings.
