    Minn Kota Prop issue

My buddy has 52" 112 Fortrex, The adapter ring on the prop breaks of perfectly. This has happened to two of them. This a new one for me. It broke so cleanly I was going to just epoxy them back together. I have not seen this, and even google search came up empty. The only thought I have as the cause is the prop shaft is set a tad to deep putting flex pressure on the ring. But there is no signs o.f rubbing so that theory doesn't really hold water

Perhaps maybe you should be a prop designer. Minn Kota has it right on this. You can use a small amount of glue to put back on, but a new prop is what you should get.

The 112 is a 80 prop with the ring to make the prop 4.5" instead of a 4" prop. I'm not sure how the ring is bonded to the prop, but I've seen several separate. A few drops of super glue and reseat the ring - you'll be good to go
