My Graphic Artist Colorized A Pic So I can See What My New Boat Will Look Like!

I ordered a new 1980 last Tuesday. I have to say I was a bit frustrated with trying to nail down the color. There was not much available. So, then I decided to go a different route and have my graphic artist recolorize an existing boat. That too was not so easy because all the best photos were such low resolution for the web. My dealer did talk to Vexus and they did provide links to some better pics but they were all "on the water". Anyway this is what we ended up with. My boat will be an AVX 1980 with a Mercury 150 Pro XS. I would have gone Evinrude but hardly anyone services them here in Arizona.

The boat in the picture is a 2080 but the colors should represent the new Sapphire Blue with a White bottom. Let me know what you think!

You had to employ a graphic artist to decide on blue and white? OK....

    Looks very nice

Perhaps I am not like a lot of people but when I am spending well in excess of 40k for a new boat you had better believe I want to see exactly what it is going to look like! Much cheaper to find out before it is done than after whether I am going to like it or not.

Are you sure that's what it is going to look like? Is your monitor calibrated? Lol, jk, sort of.

wdr - that's awesome …. you did what a lot of folks would have done or would have liked to have done and it's well done! Impressive effort to get exactly what you wanted and know what the final outcome would look like - I totally get it!!!

the trailer fenders will typically be the same color as the top of the boat (blue) ,
unless you special ordered it with that fender color

Wow, sweet boat, congrats. I love my Lund, but I saw a guy headed to Grand this morning towing a nice avx2080 and I was a bit jealous.

    Thanks and another colorized photo!

Thanks for all the comments. I had also wanted to see it with a white top as we were considering that and we wanted to see it in Peacock Blue but that is probably too green but every photo we saw of Peacock showed the color much, much differently. Anyhow enjoy the colorized photos!
