    AVX 1880 VT2 Vents

Installed these last week after losing a few fish. Hopefully they help. Lots of folks swear by them. Thought I would post in case someone was considering them in one of their AVX models. Measure carefully and it is possible to miss the lid support and live well top lip as shown in the pics.

Yes. I hate losing fish. VT2 vents, ice, and G Juice took care of it!

What did you use to cut the holes? Any issues with carpet after installing these?

3" holesaw. Drill a pilot hole first, run the holesaw backwards as you easy into the carpet. This should cut the carpet fibers enough so that when you actually cut the hole there will be a nice clean edge to the carpet and no fraying. I had the boat until February of this year and no issues after installation.
