Sounds like a really great motor to me.

Throw in a LCD display remote and I'm definitely in.

They are either pre-selling like hot cakes or there’s been a delay in delivery, Tackle Warehouse has changed their delivery date.

The price increase between the 47" and 52" shaft is $200. For just 5 inches!!! But, it's $100 more for 60" shaft over the 52". I understand cost will increase a little for a longer shaft and a little more wiring, but these increases are ridiculous.

I suspect the bracket needs to be changed for 52"/62" versions. The Gatormount for my 45" shaft is much smaller than my 50"/60" X5.

I fish brackish & saltwater here on the Potomac and use of the Ghost in those waters voids the warranty. So no it's not a consideration.

Usually it costs you half your stuff for your significant other to get a 5" upgrade... $200 is cheap.
