Here's some current numbers from a Pro XS 200 (2014).

In the cold/dry months, with 400 pounds of adults with dog and normal tackle. My motor will spin a 26P fury at 5700-5750 RPM, with a top speed of 74-74.5. Right now, in Alabama, on a day with 95 degree air temps and 95% humidity, it just ran at 72, at 5500 RPM, same exact load. So a couple of hundred RPM, and 2.5 mph or so.

All the hydrofoil does is raise the rear end up on takeoff, and makes the thing look like hell on the trailer. :)

For tubing/skiing, I would find an older prop that is at least 2-3-4" less pitch than your normal prop. Will keep you up on plane easier, will not bleed off speed when tubes or skiers start to pull, and will jump out of the hole. Of course it will run all over the rev limiter but you generally don't run at WOT when pulling something anyway, except maybe to take off. With a good prop and reduced pitch, you can pull their arms out of the sockets. :)

Haha I do agree the foil dont look pretty.

I will add though it was nice having the foil when pulling a tube from the transom hooks... it kept the rope put of the prop a few times

I ended up pulling 1 of the plugs on the prop got 3200ish rpm on launch.

Definitely need a better ski/ tube style prop.

Would a 17pitch high five be way too small? I was keeping an eye out for a 19

You could go Aluminum for your WaterSports prop...save a little cash.

I think 17P is just going to be too low a pitch. Perhaps a 19P High-Five, or an aluminum prop (19 pitch but be careful not to exceed RPM recommendations).

Yea don what I was thinking almost jumped on local sale for a 17p one but sold now anyways

This past weekend Temps were hot maxed out 5100 rpm 48 mph 4 people

Tonight temps are cooling down in the evening 5400 ish rpm 50mph 4 people n loaded with gear and trolling motor

I think a 19 p tempest or laser 2 would be a ticket for rpm goal. Even if I dont hit that max 55mph I got in perfect conditions I prefer running a more consistent performing prop in varying temp / load conditions
