This may be the wrong forum, please move if so. I have a 36v Ultrex with US2 built in transducer going to a Lowrance HDS 7 Gen 2. It regularly takes 1 minute or more to find the bottom after deploying the trolling motor. This happens regardless of when the unit is powered on. Any suggestions?

I've had that issue at times. It always seem to find it with in a min or two. If it starts to take longer than say 5 min, I wouldn't be too concerned. But that's just me, maybe !

It varies. I had read that could be an issue, so I've alternated leaving it on vs powering off when stowed to see if there is a difference--there doesn't seem to be. I've tried powering off the console unit also to see if it makes a difference, and that hasn't helped either.Originally Posted by Jonestrollingmotor
