What's the best approach to Jackson this time of year? I've only been there once, but it's been a while. Any ideas where to start? I know it has to be high and muddy.

Honestly, I think the best approach to Jackson right now is to go somewhere else with good looking water, unless you just feel lucky. It's tough, and you're right...muddy water and fluctuating levels. Hopefully we can get a week of stable warmer weather soon. For now, I'd try something like a drop shot senko (in a dark color of course) over suspended fish, or my go to, the blk/blue jig. Let us know if you decide to go. I got cabin fever something bad and I reckon I'm gonna have to fish in the mud.
Thanks...the snow and the wife kept me home this weekend! I've got another chance to get up there in a couple weeks, I'll let you know.
The bigger trout are bitting on a 1 oz cut bait rig with a #2 gamagatsu circle...Run your cork at least 6 ft to get the cut bait down a little...let me know how it works for you !
