I noticed one of my trolling motor batteries didn't seem to want to charge on my Minnkota PC318 charger. I switched the leads and the issue follows the battery. When I hooked the battery to two other chargers that I have on hand, it would show a full charge. Is my PC318 charger just smarter enough to detect an issue where as the others aren't? When the battery is hooked to the PC318 charger, you could actually hear it boiling. I'm not sure how long it has been doing this or if it just started as I had just used my trolling motor hard in a tournament this past Saturday and it ran strong all day.
I'm going to pick up another battery and keep this one as a backup just to be certain, but I was just curious and thought I'd ask about it on here.
