How far of a distance can Livescope show fish? Well I did a little test today on the water and I'm impressed. Here's the setup, there's a large dock that I know of that generally holds crappie year round, so while I was out with the family today I decided to try a little test. At about 90 feet you can see the top edge of the floating dock, from there out to about 140 feet you start to see the fish that are suspended way under the dock. As I move in closer in the following pictures you start to see the fish more clearly. Also if you look in the 22 to 26 foot depth range you can see the theromocline. My unit that I was using was the new Echomap Ultra 1222. First time using the green pallet.
