    115 hp seal stretched out on the extension case

    I noticed that my seal was loose when I was on vacation last week in MN, after a week of hard running it was completely stretched out and hanging on the lower. I believe the part is 63719-zw5-000.

    A couple of questions, what does this seal do? Did I harm the motor running it with the seal loose/off? Do I have to drop the lower to put it back on?

    Looks like it the cowl seal, just keeps water out from under the cowlick BV?

    yeah I saw its a cheap part. I will order one and try to put it on without removing everything.
