A lesser band would've canceled the show!

Hell yeah. That’s one of the reasons they’ll be arguably the best rock band ever. Love em!!!

Wouldn’t the rain ruined all the electrical stuff? I couldn’t tell but are those wireless electric guitars?

The guitars are wireless. I wonder if the guitars will have to be torn down and cleaned to prevent corrosion or if they don't care and just get new ones.

That seems dangerous. There are a lot of electronics on that stage. The wireless guitars help, i'm sure, but I've definitely heard of musicians getting shocked onstage from mics and such in similar conditions. Usually the stage will at least be covered, if nothing else, to prevent such a thing.

How can it be dangerous when nothing is electrified? They’re just pumping the instruments and vocals through the speakers.

Is is it me or does Mr. Hetfield look like he and Boyd Duckett could be brothers?

Most of the expensive gear is under cover, mixing boards, PA amps and effects, lighting equipment. Guitars are relatively cheap when compared to some of that stuff, plus they have sponsorship by music companies and have dozens of guitars to choose from and can get more simply by placing a phone call.

My band lost 8 grand worth of PA equipment during a freak downpour playing at an outside event, the stuff was in a trailer but the wind was blowing hard and right into the open doors. The other guys thought I was crazy for having an insurance policy on the gear, only cost us $500 to get it fixed/replaced. I can only imagine how much $$$ they have into all that lighting and sound equipment.

I can't get into their newer stuff, but Black album and earlier - especially Master of Puppets - are always in whatever device I load up with music.

I'm about the same way. It's almost like they're a bunch of Samsons. Cut their hair and there goes their songwriting ability.
